Indians: The dilemma that comes with being Cliff Lee these days is that allowing any runs at all can be viewed as a disappointment. Lee could toss a complete game against the Yanks, allow just one run and his road ERA will still receive a noticeable rise. The next road run Lee allows will be the first this season, and he's already made three road starts. His stretch of 27 straight scoreless innings overall came to an end Wednesday night at home against the Mariners, when he allowed three runs on eight hits with no walks and three strikeouts in six-plus innings. But it was still another strong outing from the resurrected Lee.
Yankees: Wang will be facing Cleveland for the fifth time in his career. He's 3-1 against the Tribe after being on the top end of a 1-0 victory in Cleveland on April 27. Wang improved to 6-0 with a win over Seattle on Friday night.
