Blue Jays: Halladay allowed just one run over seven innings in his last outing against the Orioles. He allowed five hits while striking out two en route to his first win since Aug. 14. Halladay is 1-2 with a 3.26 ERA in his past six starts. He is 10-4 with a 3.10 ERA in 25 career outings against the Yankees.
Yankees: Wang lost his battle with fellow Cy Young Award contender Josh Beckett last week in Boston, lasting only 5 2/3 innings and allowing five runs. It was Wang's first stumble since early August, and it followed a string of five straight wins. The Blue Jays are the only team besides the Red Sox to beat Wang twice this season, and they've hit him at a .372 clip while doing it.
